WayRay develops holographic augmented-reality display technology intended to replace conventional automotive head-up displays with true 3D graphics projected onto the windshield. Its products include the Navion aftermarket device and reference concepts such as the Holograktor.
The company was founded in 2012 by Vitaly Ponomarev and is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. Its automotive partners have included Porsche, Hyundai Motor, and JVCKENWOOD.
