Airbnb Pitch Deck
Online marketplace connecting travelers with hosts offering short-term stays and experiences in more than 220 countries.
Airbnb
Airbnb operates a global two-sided marketplace where individuals can list and book private homes, rooms, and unique stays. The platform has grown from a single air-mattress rental in San Francisco into a category-defining brand for peer-to-peer hospitality.
The company was founded in 2008 by Brian Chesky, Joe Gebbia, and Nathan Blecharczyk. It went through Y Combinator in 2009 and is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
This deck is the seminal 2008 pitch used to raise the company’s earliest capital. It laid out the marketplace thesis at a time when the very idea of staying in a stranger’s home was untested at scale, and remains one of the most widely studied fundraising decks in the industry.
