Dropbox Pitch Deck
File hosting and collaboration platform that lets individuals and teams sync, share, and access files across devices.
Dropbox
Dropbox pioneered mainstream consumer cloud storage by replacing folder-syncing complexity with a single “magic folder” that stayed identical across every device. It has since evolved into a broader collaboration suite covering document sharing, e-signature, and password management.
The company was founded in 2007 by Drew Houston and Arash Ferdowsi and is headquartered in San Francisco, California. It went public on NASDAQ in 2018.
This deck accompanied Dropbox’s earliest institutional round and was later publicly shared by the founders to help other early-stage teams. Sequoia Capital led the seed round, joined by other early backers including angel investors from the Y Combinator network.
